BENEFICIARY
SMRF supports a number of local charities and organizations which provide vitally needed services and support to our community. SMRF does this through making direct donations to local organizations and creating a platform from which charities are able raise funds.
SMRF has several official charity partners for this year's event. Our charity partners receive a package which includes complimentary entries to the event, a dedicated section on our DONATIONS PAGE, a number of Facebook posts to let our social media community know about initiatives and exciting things they are doing, a presence in the Local Charities section of our email communications, and, an on-site presence at the expo and on race day giving them an opportunity to meet the runners and tell you a little bit about what they do.
The SMRF team is proud to say that since 2012, SMRF has donated and raised in excess of $350,000 for local charities. Let's continue that tradition and make this year's event the largest charitable giving year yet. Please support a local charity and help raise some much needed funds.
